The whole family slept in this morning.  We clearly needed a few extra Zs.  Evelyn slept for almost 12 hours straight and woke up maybe once in the night.  So glad she got some rest!  The morning consisted of making crafts and watching Paw Patrol.

After lunch we headed to the hospital for physio.  It was the busiest we have seen the place since we have been here.   We met Rebecca who will be our therapist for many of our sessions.  She was great!  She had Evelyn walk around collecting pizza pieces with the shopping cart.  Then she threw bean bags into a bin while practicing standing.  She finished the session on the swing which she loved!  We found out she will be getting casts on Friday.  She can’t have a bath until Day 10 and the casts will be Day 9 so we will have to get creative on getting her cleaned up before double leg casts!

 

Once back at the hotel Evelyn wanted to walk.  She walked a lot with one hand holding onto Brian and a another on the wall.  She is getting stronger by the day that is for sure!  Her confidence is growing too.    Later in the afternoon Ev and Wes had a flash light party.  It was definitely a more relaxed day which was needed!
