Today is World CP Day! World CP Day is now a day in our calendar that our family participates in. This day was created to celebrate the 17 million people worldwide who have cerebral palsy. A day to celebrate all of their accomplishments as well as those who support them. It has officially been 6 months since Evie had her SDR surgery. Half a year!! Wow! The last month has been a whirlwind! There was another intensive, another week of camp, swimming lessons, camping with friends, a family reunion, zoo trips, play dates, a birthday party, 54 month assessment, the SDR picnic, orthodic adjustments and Evie started Junior Kindergarten!! Today Evelyn is three months post-op! The last two months at home have been very busy so it is no wonder it feels like we were JUST in St. Louis. Evelyn continues to have therapy 4 to 5 days a week. This includes Conductive Ed, physiotherapy, Medek, strength training and sometimes the G-EO System (“The Robot”).
